A fire broke out at Balaka Bhaban in Chandni Chowk Market in the capital.
The fire broke out at a shop on the ground floor of the market at 1:25pm today, reports our staff correspondent quoting Ziaur Rahman, duty officer of fire service and civil defense headquarters.
Three units of fire fighters are working to douse the fire, he said.
The cause and damages due to the fire could not be known immediately.
